To mark the exhibition of artist Andrew Kötting’s new film work, The Woman of Kent, at Kino Digital, writer and film maker Iain Sinclair will lead a discussion with the artist about his work. Sinclair and Kötting will explore constructions of past and present, as experienced through our encounters with the artist’s grandmother Gladys Morris in his works Gallivant (1996), The Woman of Kent (2014) and Buoyed by the Irrelevance of their own Insignificance (2014).

Andrew Kötting is a practising artist and Professor of Time-based Media at the University for the Creative Arts. His practice encompasses moving image, installation and performance.
Iain Sinclair is a writer, poet and film maker and his works include Lud Heat (2012), Buried at Sea (2006) and London Orbital (2002).
